Sometimes the smallest things are what make me stop the longest. Understory captures a tiny fern rising from the dark, mossy forest floor, surrounded by the muted colors and textures of the woods. It’s exactly the kind of detail that would be easy to walk right past if you weren’t looking for it.

The Hoh Rainforest feels like a place where every surface has been claimed by something green. Hall of Moss came from slowing down enough to notice the layers,the moss, texture, dampness, and tiny details that make the forest feel almost otherworldly.
